6 Ways to Protect yourself

1. Wear clothing that covers your shoulders, arms and legs. Choose shirts with collars, long sleeves and light weight pants.
2. Use a broad-spectrum 30+ water-resistant sunscreen. for unprotected areas. Apply generously 20 minutes before going outside and re-apply every 2 hours. Never rely on sunscreen alone.
3. Wear good quality sunglasses.
4. Wear a hat that protects your face, ears and neck.
5. Seek shade whenever you can especially when UV levels are highest between 10am and 2pm (11am and 3pm during daylight saving).
6. Consult a skin specialist to check you on a regular basis. Early detection of skin cancer can save your life.
